Château de Miromesnil

Miromesnil was the birthplace of author Guy de Maupassant. The chateau is set in beautiful wooded country and has a park and potager.  The park is enclosed by a high seventeenth century brick wall (recently restored) and has an old Cedar of Lebanon and notable collection of clematis. The potager (vegetable garden) is divided into squares by grass walkways. Miromesnil runs a programme of events throughout the year such as fundraising dinners and an Easter Egg Hunt.
