Bolongaro Garden

The Bolongaro garden is set between the joining of the rivers Nidda and Main to the south and the Bolongaro Palace to the north. Both palace and garden were built in the late 18th century by a merchant family orginating from Stresa at Lago Maggiore. The baroque design is still intact. Being only 0.4 hectar in size, the garden is divided into two terraces offering wide views over the river and is complete with a Neptun fountain, two symmetrical garden pavilions, grotto and sandstone statues.
