Berkeley Castle Garden

A romantic 12th century castle overlooking the watermeadows of the Doverte Brook. The battlements are used as terraced gardens, much as wall-walks were used in medieval gardens. Berkeley Castle has a park, an Elizabethan bowling lawn, a lily pond and extensive planting, notably of climbers.
