The Garden at Ballintubbert

The Garden at Ballintubbert is arranged symmetrically around the Georgian house. The historic garden has been redeveloped and opened to the public as a new arts and crafts garden. Garden rooms include The Lutyens Garden, Victorian Secret Garden, Barn Garden and The Beech Wood. The Lutyens Garden is a sunken garden inspired by the Lutyens garden at Heywood House. Over the 20th century, the house was home to poet laureate C. Day Lewis and actors Sebastian Shaw and John Hurt.
