Northern Ireland has some fantastic scenery and some very famous gardens. They were made on great landed estates, using the conscientious and highly developed horticultural skills of a farming region. One feels that any temperate plant could flourish here and that one have to travel far and wide to find the same species better cared for.
The tour includes Mount Stewart House Garden and Downhill Demesne and Mussenden Temple. The circular temple (pictured left - © Jule_Berlin) is dramatically situated on a cliff on a beautiful section of coastline. Other highlights include the legendary Giant's Causeway and a charming private garden.
