As one who is a tad bonkers on trees, Westonbirt has a fine selection and very pleasantly laid out. The shelter created by the trees offers a marvellous opportunity for everything to grow in what seems a more columnar fashion.
The Autumn colour of the various Acer palmatum cultivars is awesome, and intriguing to see the variations of colour on the same varieties-Spp Amoenum, Matsumarae and the dissect-leaved types.
