Pinjore Gardens were started in the 17th century, designed by Nawab Fidal Khan the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb now have a zoo, plant nursery, Japanese garden and picnic lawns. The gardens are on a sloping site with fountains and pavilions. The central water channel has fountains and rest pavilions at change points.The Jal Mahal, in a large pool, is now used as a restaurant. The gardens include orchards.

more needs to be told about its history.the latest thing is that there is no zoo ther now. all animals have been shifted to other zoos nearby.
