A fifteenth century moated house (c1450) with a nineteenth/twentieth century garden. The garden was designed by Francis Inigo Thomas. There is a mount, a canal, a nuttery, a rose garden, a croquet lawn, a woodland garden and a moat walk. There is also a Knot Garden designed by Sylvia Landsberg. It symbolises The Universe with 25 beds representing 25 civilisations.
