Mycenae

Gardenvisit Editorial

Mycenae has given its name to the pre-classical, bronze age, culture of Greece. It is perhaps the best place to envisage the type of landscape in which Homer's epic poems are set. One can still look out from the floor of the Megaron palace on top of the citadel to the plain (the Argolid) in which Argos and Tiryns are located.
