Santa Clotilde Gardens

The garden is set on a rocky Costa Brava hillside, made in the 1920s. The style can be compared with that of Iford Manor in England and the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in France: it is Arts and Crafts with a fond backward glance to Italy. Santa Clothilde makes brilliant use of evergreens and has great stairways flanked with statuary.
