The 4 acre garden was made for Ambassador John Humes in 1960 when he returned from Japan. The site is sloping and deeply wooded. It has been managed by The Garden Conservancy since 1993.

Opening times - Mid April to late October. Saturday and Sunday. Open 11:30am to 4:30pm.
