This place is brillant. Very pleasant gardens, and the best Arboretum I have ever seen. Make sure you get there at opening time if you want to fully explore the Arboretum, and have enough time to visit the cafe, which is well worthwhile.

(5.0/5)Beautiful garden. definately worth going out of your way for. Snowdrop time is lovely too. Lots of unusual trees and shrubs.

(5.0/5)Wow...so understated and yet a place with a wealth of choice trees, lovely herbaceous plantings and bags of space to wander and enjoy a country house park. It is fantastic to see so many choice trees used in the landscape so that they almost disappear into the setting, instead of the 'collection' context most are found. Find the big clump of Cercidiphyllum !
And of course one must'nt miss on a cup of Earl grey tea in the tea rooms.
If you are visiting Alnwick Grdens come here as well.
