Special Events
Craft Fair Sunday 25th and Monday 26th May 10.30am to 5.00pm 2008 will see Hoveton Hall Gardens hold it's first ever craft fair. There will be approximately 50 stalls covering a wide range of beautiful produce crafted by local people. Admission for these two days will be £5 per adult, £2 per child which includes your visit around the gardens. Other concessions will not be accepted. If you are interested in taking a stall at this event please contact the Events Manager on 01603 782983. Jazz Evening with Hog Roast Friday 4th July Gates open 6.00pm An exclusive event with only 300 tickets available. The evening will take place in the immediate grounds of Hoveton Hall. Tickets are available from 1st May and will cost £20 per person. Childrens Adventure Trail Saturday 16th August 10.30am to 5.00pm Further details coming soon. Guided tour of the gardens - 1st Wednesday of the month: 2nd April - Spring bulbs and blossom 7th May - Rhododendrons, Tulips and early perennials 4th June - Rhododendrons, Irises and Paeonies 2nd July - Penstemons, Primulas and late Rhododendrons 6th August - Hydrangeas and late summer perennials Guided wildlife walk - 3rd Wednesday of the month: 16th April - Spring flowers, songbirds and early insects 21st May - Bluebells, butterflies and hairy dragonflies 18th June - Norfolk Hawkers, Demoiselles and other dragonflies 16th July - White Admirals, Hairstreaks and other butterflies 20th August - Crickets, Damselflies and other late summer insects All tours are free of charge and will start promptly at 11am. Please congregate outside the tearooms 10 minutes before the start and your guide will come and collect you.
