The Hortense Miller Garden is situated on 2 1/2 hillside acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Laguna Beach, CA. Hortense built her house in 1959 in mid-century modern style and then started to design and plant her garden by herself. The Garden attracts visitors from throughout the world. Tours of the house and garden are arranged Tuesday through Saturday throughout the year by the City of Laguna Beach Recreation Dept. at 949 497-0716. Reservations must be made as the garden is located on a private street.
