Glenwhan is a woodland and rock garden, overlooking Luce Bay and the Mull of Galloway. In the centre of the garde, there is a statue of Florentine Medici Boar, a symbol of fertility.

A lovely garden with so much to see and think about. There are quiet paths that meander around the gardens, with something new around every corner, statues, rare plants, exotic shrubs and trees. The ponds are delightful, with plenty of wildlife in and around them. the tearoom and terrace eating area are pleasant and the food is good. Parking facilities were okay. The views are also very good, and the atmosphere is one of colourful relaxation.Well worth a visit if yu are passing.
