I think this place merits a 6 star ranking !
Whilst it is, as the owners have been compelled to create, quite an intense inward looking garden with a huge propensity for contained spaces, it has been designed, for my money, with impeccably good taste and fabulous planting styles. Nothing is naff. it is bursting excellent detail and ideas.
I'm going to have to revisit this garden soon !
If you havent been to this garden, go !!

(5.0/5)An rich and varied garden with something different to see on every visit. Some inspired planting schemes in many different styles. Very good local self catering local accommodation at http://www.eastrustoncottages.co.uk with free tickets to the gardens!

(5.0/5)Fascinating place to see a whole range of plants growing in unusual coastal conditions. Very much the owners taste which can be a little hectic but good to visit when the Hydrangea's are out

(4.0/5)Probably one of the most important contemporary gardens in England. Worth a visit at any time of the year as there is always something exciting to be seen.
