Sir Winston Churchill's garden has a fine site and a calm dignified air. The style is Arts and Crafts, with a grass terrace in front of the house, a walled garden to one side and an 'informal' area on the other. It was designed by Sir Winston and Lady Churchill, with the Malborough Pavilion designed by Philip Tilden. Sir Winston built the garden walls and a summerhouse himself.

Opening times - Garden open all year except Christmas period. Wednesday to Sunday. Also Tuesdays in July and August.
Admission - Adult £11.80, Garden & Studio only £5.90 (prices include voluntary gift aid donation)

A lovely house and garden: when we were there in 2006 they had an exhibit about Churchill that was quite interesting: I think they change the exhibits regularly. Includes the studio where Churchill did his painting: not my style, but you may find it interesting. The rose garden and walled garden are delightful, and we enjoyed roaming through the landscape gardens as well: so peaceful!
