A woodland garden laid out in the picturesque style. Like Caerhays, it was laid out by the Williams family. It is now part of a commercial nursery specialising in rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, magnolias and bamboos.

Opening times - All year except 25th December. Daily. Open 8.30am (11am on Sundays) to 5.00pm.

    I ORDER PLANTS FOR ABOUT £160 THE PROTEA CYNAROIDES WAS VERY SMALL. THEY DIDNOT HAVE STOCK HELLEBORUS ORIENT YELLOW LADY AND VIBURUM TINUS LUCIDUM. THEY DONT SEND YOU A INVOICE OF TOTAL YOU HAVE TO ASK THEM THE TOTAL I PAID I PHONE THEM TO ASK WHEN WILL I RECIEVE MY PLANTS I SPOKE TO STEVE AND HE SAID IN AUGUST AND I ORDER IN APRIL. ON THEY WEBSITE THEY TELL YOU THAT IF NO STOCK IS AVAILABLE THEY WILL PHONE YOU BUT I RECIEVED NO PHONE CALL. AND IF NO STOCK YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY EXTRA DELIVERY FOR REST OF ORDER
    WHEN I ORDER HE TOLD ME 10 TO 15 DAYS I WILL RECIEVE MY PLANTS. AFTER 14 DAYS I PHONED TO ASKED IF PLANTS ARE GETTING DELIVERED STEVE TELLS ME ANOTHER 10 DAYS, I THEN GET A CALL 30 MIN LATER SAYING THE PLANT SHOULD BE WITH YOU TODAY. IT SHOWS THE STAFF DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. BUT ARE GOOD AT TAKING MONEY.

    A marvellous little patch of woodland with some gems of Magnolias, Camellias, and various other beauties.

    When you have melted your plastic in the nursery with all the various choice plants it will help recover your sensibilities having a wonder about the woods, especially when the Camellias in full show ! Lovely.
