If you like an Arboretum that has not become commercialized and retains much of its original plan, make a trip out to Awbury. There is a Pa state recognized River Birch and a number of trees over 100 years old. Awbury is also surrounded by some wonderful architecture. They are privately owned buildings and not open to tours, but are visible from the walking paths.
