Purpleways as greenways

Exotic greenways 

Purpleways are rare and exotic. They attract visitors, as do redways, but the blueness is a sign of sublimity. Luxury shopping streets and arcades in great cities are purple, as are tracks through ancient woods and rocky clefts. Relative darkness helps to make a place purple, as in a natural gorge or a dark street.
