The garden should be clean, but the growth of moss on the ground and rocks must not be destroyed. As we have already observed, the moss is extremely highly valued in our garden as an artistic element of good taste. To cultivate it all sorts of efforts are made. Some, claiming that the city water is detrimental to its growth, draw water from the well for the garden. While cleanliness is insisted upon, it is not all: teaism in our taste requires something more, a touch of Nature and beauty as well.
