English landscape architect, trained at Berkeley in California, responsible for initiating and preparing the Thames Landscape Strategy for the reach from Hampton to Kew. Wilkie also works on the restoration of historic gardens and the design of new gardens. His projects include Great Fosters, Selbourne, Heveningham Hall and Moscow Botanic Garden.
