J.P. Thijsse

Dutch ecologist and botanist, adviser on the Amsterdam Bos Park and creator of the J.P. Thijssse Park in Amstelveen. One can visit the J. P Thijsse park and Thijsse's own house. His ideas contributed to the Dutch enthusiasm for 'home parks' (heemparks).
