Born - Died : 1870 - 1933
A Slovakian architect, the son of a stonemason. Loos travelled in America and, in Vienna became friends with Oskar Kokoschka and Ludwig Wittgenstein. He wrote a famous essay on Ornament and Crime in 1908.
