Tan-y-Llyn Nurseries DO provide mail ordering.
We propagate & grow a wide range of culinary and ornamental herbs together with herbaceous perennials, rock plants and some shrubs. Most of the plants grown are suitable for sunny, free draining sites and are hardy in Mid Wales. Stock plants can be seen growing naturally and in containers. Plants are grown in a peat-reduced compost incorporating a 12 to 14 month controlled release fertiliser. The nursery is surrounded by wildlife: full use is made of introduced and naturally occurring predators for pest control. The nursery is open in spring and summer, or at any time by appointment. Plants can also be sent by post.
The three acre sloping garden surrounded by hills fields and forest is open for the National Gardens Scheme charities on the first weekend in May, June and July.
