Peter Beales Roses

I went to Peter Beales I found a member of st aff who dealt with my requirements we went through all the options of the roses that I needed colour/position/flowering etc he was very patient and very helpful. He then went and dug some of my order while I waited,all my roses are doing very well. A pleasant experience I then had some lunch there with my daughter, perfect day.I will return again as I am happy with the choice of roses they offer and the service was great.

This is undoubtably one of the best garden centres in the UK today. Both the staff in the restaurant & shop were extremely friendly, polite & helpful. We loved the unusual gifts in the shop & the large assortment of roses on offer. It was so refreshing to find somewhere with the "personal" touch that seems to have disappeared from the larger stores nowadays. Lunch in the restaurant was wonderful and we will certainly return again very soon.

I have just made a vist to this nursery after trying to vist for many years.
I could have spent the whole day there, with such a large collection of roses to choose from i was spoilt for choice.
The quality of all the plants, roses,perenials,shrubs,clematis,fruit and soft bedding was the best i have seen for a long time and i vist a lot of nurserys and garden centres.
The staff were the most helpful and knowledgeable i have ever come across at any nursery or garden centre,they defnitley know their subject.
We had lunch in the bistro,this was one of the best lunches we have ever had at a garden centre.We cant wait to return when all the roses are in flower.

Absolutely useless staff, they do not acknowledge you when you enter the garden centre and in fact pushed past us on various locations. They seem to have little interest in helping us out with our prospective purchases.

The garden centre itself looked like everything was done on a shoe string with lots of piles of rubbish littered around everywhere.

I was very disappointed after going there on the supposedly great name of Peter Beale.

The Peter Beale collection is exceptional. They don't stock every rose you may want obviously, but with more than 13,000 varieties, there's a lot of choice. I've bought many roses from them and never been disappointed. They get a lot of orders though, so you might have to wait a while for the delivery.
There is also a messageboard with members worldwide. You can get a great deal of useful information on there, and the contributers are very friendly. Definitely a must for rose lovers!
