The Boar's Head Hotel is on the Ripley Castle Estate and guests have free access to the walled garden, deer park and lake. It was originally a coaching inn on the Leeds to Edinburgh route. The hotel has its own lawn and courtyard garden. The hotel's restaurant is excellent.
