The New Winter Palace Hotel was built in the 1960s as an extension to the Winter Palace Hotel (now known as the Old Winter Palace). The New and Old Winter Palaces share garden and palm-fringed pool. The Temple of Luxor is only 100 metres away. Gardens to visit while staying at the New Winter Palace Hotel include Domain of Amun, Medinet Habu, Ramesseum, Temple of Hatshepsut, Temple of Karnak, Temple of Luxor and Temple of Mentuhotpe II.

  The winter palace was lovely but the gardens were magnificent!!
