Lake Vyrnwy Hotel

Lake Vyrnwy Hotel is a Victorian Country House set in a 24,000 acre estate on the hillsides of the Berwyn Mountains. Lake Vyrnwy was created when the Victorians built a dam across the River Vyrnwy to create a water supply, to be transported by aqueduct, for the growing city of Liverpool. The views from the hotel are spectacular. Gardens to visit while staying at Lake Vyrnwy Hotel include Powis Castle Garden (25 miles) and Erddig Garden (37 miles).
