Surrounded by trees and cliffs, Knockinaam Lodge is a Victorian manor house set in 30 acres of gardens and woodland that run down to a private sandy beach. The restaurant has a Michelin star. Sir Winston Churchill used Knockinaam Lodge for meetings with General Eisenhower during World War II. Gardens to visit while staying at the Knockinaam Lodge include Castle Kennedy and Lochinch Gardens (8 miles), Glenwhan Garden (13 miles) and Logan Botanic Garden (12 miles).
