Homewood Park is a gracious Georgian country house hotel with an attractive well cared for garden. Set in beautiful countryside, it is only six miles from Bath and only 30 minutes from the M4. The hotel has 10 acres of formal and informal gardens surrounded by magnificent collection of mature trees scattered throughout the parklands. Generously planted herbaceous borders surround a large area of rolling lawn. There is a beautiful cut flower garden, which the gardener and in-house florist plan each year to grow flowers for the hotel. They also grow annuals and perennials on site in a Victorian heated greenhouse. The Circular Rose Garden planted with David Austen Old English scented roses is a beautiful feature in full bloom. Under the supervision of Steven Hargreaves, the gardens were awarded 1st prize in the actively contested 'Bath in Bloom' competition in 1998, 1999 and 2000, 2005.
