Washington Park Botanical Garden

The park was designed in a prarie style by O C Simonds. Robert Lawson was landscape architect for the Rose Garden. The park has 9,000 square feet of greenhouse area. There is also an iris garden, a perennial border, a glass dome conservatory, the Betty Mood Smith Rockery, a Roman Cultural Garden and an outdoor cactus garden.

Opening times - All year. Daily. Open noon to 4pm (weekends 5pm). Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.
