This is my favorite garden in Prague. It is not only very beautiful but also has lovely views of Prague Castle and the cathedral.

This is a lovely Italian garden located immediately southwest of the the Malostanska metro station (one of the metro station exits leads directly into the garden). The garden plantings, statuary, water features, and adjacent government buildings blend together to make a wonderful setting. Even if you are not a serious gardener, you will appreciate the serenity of the location.

What surprised me, and made me happy, was finding Valdstejn was a baroque garden in the middle of a medieval town.
