Over the last 6 years or so this place has been massively pulled up by its boot straps and is noe spectacular. M'thimks a big drop of Rothschild money has been thrown at the gardens. The resurrection of very fine and near extravagent Victorian bedding schemes are brilliant, both in the lovely use of colours and the quality of planting.
Many other areas have been upgraded as well so the overall effect and experience is lovely.
PS Great cream teas but the scones are huge..one between two is enough !
