Access is by organised guided tours from the church tower square just behind the like-named hotel. There is a lengthy walk up a drive to a vista overlooking the gardens and buildings. The view across the lake is awesome. The gardens are a little tired and underfunded, so don't expect extensive plant beds flush with plants.. in places there are great drifts of Ceratostigma and other evergreen shrubs, a few labelled, but mostly identified by the tour guide. The tour leads you to the east and north side of the garden/property with lovely views across the lake.
