The Botanical Gardens at Treborth are a wonderful place. They were my local Botanic gardens before I came to university and are home to a large collection which includes a bamboosery, a bog garden, a small orchard, an orchid house, temperate house and tropical house and many specimen trees including a Ginko biloba. If you ever find yourself nearby i really recommend popping in, everyone who works there is so friendly and knowledgable you couldn't help but have an enjoyable and informative time.

A hidden gem of a garden with a very nice curator. Good collections including South African plants, bamboos and cacti. Garden has a fascinating geology.
