This is one of the best place that can be seen in Lincoln or may be in Nebraska! I go there often and can tell that people enjoy to be there!

(5.0/5)I first visited the Sunken Gardens about 45 years ago. I thought it was beautiful then, and often when I visited Lincoln, would drive by. I moved to Lincoln last year and have had numerous occasions to drive by. They never cease to impress me.

(5.0/5)What a beautiful and lush paradise gently nuzzled in the middle of the City. The great variety of flowers and plants, goldfish ponds with their lovely lilies and the sounds of the waterfall make the Sunken Gardens a soothing resting place from life's busy pace. Take notice of the fabulous ironwork found throughout the garden, particularly the arboretum. A precious jewel in Lincoln's crown!

(5.0/5)while having to be at a hospital in Lincoln and needing some time away from the turmoil, I took my husband to the garden for some serenity. We were not disappointed. I had seen it about 15 years ago and I had felt the serenity then. I sincerely hope the city of Lincoln continue to value the depth of the need for beauty like this and will keep it going. Thank you Lincoln.

(5.0/5)This is a lovely small garden. It's great to come in the Summer and again in the Fall to see the differences. It has beautiful statues and bronze work. The pathways, fishponds, and wildlife that are mixed in with the flora are really terrific.
