Gardenvisit Editorial

A Tudor Revival house and garden, started in 1915. There is an English walled garden, a rose garden, a Japanese garden, and an elegant 550' birch walk. The first owner, a co-founder of Goodyear Tyres, used the old English words for a quarry (stan hywet) because that is what the garden was made from.
