Gardenvisit Editorial

A Tudor Revival house and garden, started in 1915. There is an English walled garden, a rose garden, a Japanese garden, and an elegant 550' birch walk. The first owner, a co-founder of Goodyear Tyres, used the old English words for a quarry (stan hywet) because that is what the garden was made from.
Address - 714 North Portage Path, Akron, Ohio, USA, OH 44303
Opening times - April to September. Tuesday to Sunday. Open 10am to 6pm.
