The land was purchased by George E. Powell, Sr in 1948.  There is a rock garden, perennial garden, island garden, wildflower meadow and conservatory.

Opening times - All year. Daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. Open 9am to 6pm (5pm from November to March).
