The location of this garden between the train station and the old city of Beziers connects them very well. It has a folly/fountain in a pond covered with moss, and another elaborate fountain. Because its built on a slope it has a feeling of going from a simple urban park at the bottom to the elaborate fountains at the top. There are a number of fine old trees, and busts of writers and poets along the way. Beziers is a relatively small, but very ancient, town in the Languedoc, well off the beaten path for most visitors. This park is a real jewel for such a location.

(4.0/5)spent a very enjoyable lunch time in this elegant park with its beatiful trees and statues. the perfect place to take a break and relax whilst exploring Beziers.

(3.0/5)Although it is essentially a municipal park in the centre of Beziers with the typical 'average' bedding or planting schemes there are also some very splendid old trees of notable size that honour the history of the place.
If you are in Bezier its worth a quick look, but dont make a special journey.
