The gardens were founded by TV gardener Brian Minter. They have a splendid site at the foot of Mount Cheam and have been designed as a collection of Mixed Style theme gardens: a Formal Garden, an Alpine Garden, a Fern Garden, a Lake Garden and a Fragrance Garden. They are like a 1980s popular gardening magazine brought to life.
Address - 52892 Bunker Road, Rosedale, Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, V2P 6H7
Opening times - April to mid October. Daily.

I like this one even better than the impressive but better known Butchart Gardens. Well worth the drive inland about an hour from Vancouver. The setting is gorgeous, but what really makes this place special is the superb design of plants and plant combinations. My second favorite public garden ever, behind only Longwood Gardens.
