Madoo Conservancy Garden

Gardenvisit Editorial

The garden (2 acres) was designed by artist, Robert Dash. He began developping the garden in 1967 and it has been open to the public since 1993. It has sculpture, free planting and dramatic use of coloured paints including primrose woodwork and a purple gazebo. It is a successful and unusual design. "Madoo" derives from an old Scottish word meaning "my dove".
