Whenever I see the words "arts & crafts garden" I know I'm in for a treat.

At Lytes Cary 16th House and garden meld in to one. No jarring vista's no experimentalisation. Just the understanding that a garden's function should be as a place of relaxation, a place of beauty, a place for nature to share its world with man on its doorstep.

Here you can sit a while and enjoy the planting, the views or just curl up with a good book.

There are some excellent estate walks as well.
