Went to visit the tea rooms in June 2011 and decided to pay £8 for my wife and I to walk round the gardens. After 10 minutes of walking through a scrubby woodland with dying bushes we began to wonder where the gardens were. Eventually we came to a small area with a few flowers, not very impressive.

I dont think it's wrong to say that paying that amount to see a garden, you should expect something pretty spectacular, this certainly wasn't.

Needless to say I did not go into the tearoom to give them more of my cash, nice though it looked.

Beautiful , established ericaceous garden. Good mature Rhodos and Azaleas. Small alpine garden. Plant sales and good tea shop.
