A moated Tudor house with garden elements from several periods. Kentwell has a feature which no other 'restored garden' yet offers: for 3 weeks in mid-summer it is used for a recreation of Tudor life. People wear Tudor dress and engage in Tudor activities - including gardening. There is a modern cobbled Tudor Rose in the courtyard yet the character of Kentwell Hall gardens could be more Tudor than at present.
