JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University

The JC Raulston Arboretum was established by the professor of horticulture after whom it is named. It has a collection of woody plants and a display garden inspired by Sissinghurst Castle Garden in England. There is also a Persian Paradise Garden and a Japanese Garden. The garden focuses on plants especially adapted to Piedmont North Carolina conditions.
