The garden was created by the Lebellegard in memory of their daughter, Angelique, and is planted with a profusion of roses, hydrangeas and hostas. In addition to the intimate cottage garden, there is a white garden.

Often the success of a garden comes from its atmosphere and ambiance, and this place is utterly charming. In ways it is quite amateurishly planted but there is much evidence of a fine eye for sensitive grouping of plants.
The informal area with its labyrinthine network of paths is lovely just to slowly wander around or sit.
I visited this place before le jardin plume, for me it was quietly romantic and charming, a stark contrast.

(5.0/5)A garden with a history, dedicated to their lovely daughter.
If you want to learn how to create a successfull garden, this is the right place. A formal garden in white on the backside of the house and on the frontside a romantic and mysterious informal garden, with so many beautiful views and seats to enjoy.
