Green Springs Gardens Park

The house was built in 1760 and the garden was designed by Beatrix Farrand with boxwood hedging, roses, and perennial borders. Green Spring Gardens occupy 5 acres of a 27 acre park. The property was purchased by by editor and publisher Michael Straight in 1942 and given to Fairfax County in 1970.
