A village, abandonned in the Middle Ages, was been made into a garden during the 1920s. The ruins and the planting design are very picturesque. There is an extensive plant collection.

This is the most magical place I have ever been. It is so beautiful and tranquil, green and fresh (visited in May). The unique location makes it a place quite apart from any other garden you've ever walked in.
