This is one of the best places to see flowering plants in the light of the midnight sun. The long daylight hours in the summer and cool temperatures mean that  flowers are notably large and instensely coloured. Until 1970 it was predominantly an experimental station

    When you're in need of a horticultural fix in Fairbanks then this is the place for you! Enjoy Peonies, Roses, Fuchsia and Daylilies all blooming at the same time!
